☆  confuse  混乱させる

This week’s quote is from Hilary Clinton, saying, “Don’t confuse having a career with having a life.” I think this is really interesting, don’t you? I mean, her career and her attempts to become president of the US, must take up so much of her time, it is hard to imagine that she really has a lot of “spare time”…

To be president of the USA would be quite a career achievement, but I think it would be easy to confuse that achievement with “having a life.” Do you think that when she says, “having a life” she means this is the sign of success, and that your success in your career is not the sign of a successful life? What are your thoughts about this quote?
