☆ explore 探る
“Explore” can be used in two main ways. Firstly, you can explore a place by traveling around it and find out what it is like. “I’m really excited to have a chance to explore Paris.” Or, “Since our business meeting was postponed until tomorrow, why don’t we explore the city a little bit.”
The second way to use “explore” is to explore an idea or suggestion. To think about it in detail in order to assess it carefully. For example, “I want to explore all the options before I decide.” Or “This book really explores the ideas of peer pressure and influence.”
Can you use “explore” in either of these ways?
