You know how sometimes I talk about famous quotes using the word of the day, well, as you can see, today’s word is “realistic” meaning “based on what is real or practical.” So when I searched for “realistic quotes” instead of getting some positive quotes or quotes by famous people, I ended up getting “realistic” quotes!! In other words, quotes that were realistic, instead of idealistic. Ha ha!
Here are some of the “realistic quotes” that I found:
“If you do not have anything nice to say (about someone), you are probably just being realistic!”
“Life is better with a beard.” Ha ha, really?? As a woman, I’m not sure if this one is realistic or not. 🙂
And lastly, I like this one. This following one would be my advice to people who are nervous about speaking English:
“Trust yourself; you know more than you think you do.”
