☆ connect  つながる
============================
When two things connect to each other, they are joined together. You can use this for inanimate things such as “My laptop won’t connect to the wifi.” Or “My flight connects to the international flight in Nariat.” However, you can also use it for living things, in other words you can use it to describe people being connected, too, not just things.
If people are “connected” this means there is a relationship or link between them. For example, “I’d like to connect you with Mr. Suzuki, I’m sure he could help you during your stay in Japan.” Another way to use “connect” is to mean that you feel a sense of agreement with someone because you have similar ideas or beliefs. “When I met Rie, we really connected. It was like we had known each other for many years.”
Can you use “connect” in a sentence in one of these ways?
Bye,
