☆ enduring 長続きする
============================
The verb, “endure” has two meanings. The first meaning (as a verb) is to “endure a painful or difficult situation” in other words, you put up with it because you cannot change it. The second meaning is that when something endures, it continues to exist for a long time, usually without changing.
The second meaning is the one that is modified by adding “ing” to make it an adjective. “Enduring” describes the state of being “long-lasting.” Do you have anything that is “enduring” in your life? The most common examples are “enduring friendship” or “enduring love” and “enduring value.” Do you have an enduring friendship or enduring love?
