☆ safe 安全な
============================
You can use “safe” in a few different ways. Firstly, it means “not dangerous” and you can use it to describe something that does not cause physical harm or danger. For example, “The government is working to make the city safe at night.”
You can use “safe” to say that something is “not at risk.” In other words if a person or thing is safe from something it means that they cannot be harmed or damaged by it. For example, “Keep your phone safe at the beach by putting it in a plastic bag.”
If you say that you are “safe” you mean that you have not been hurt or you are not in danger of being hurt. For example, a teenager might call their parent and say “Don’t worry, I missed the last train, but I’m with a friend and I’m safe.”
A “safe” place is a place where something is unlikely to be harmed or damaged. For example, a mother to a child, “Make sure you put it in a safe place so you don’t lose it.”
Do you know any other ways to use the word “safe”?
Bye,
