☆ amusing 面白い
============================
If someone or something is amusing they make you laugh or smile. Here are some example sentences:
He was a great story teller and was always very amusing.
She sent me an amusing email detailing her first day at her new work.
My friends are always posting amusing photos and jokes on Facebook.
As you can see, in these sentences we use “amusing” in a positive way to mean funny, entertaining, or interesting. However, by adding “enough” we can also use it to say that something is good, but not great. In other words, it adds a slight negative nuance to the word.
A: How was the movie?
B: It was amusing enough but I wouldn’t really recommend it.
You can actually use “enough” with other adjectives too, for example, “funny enough”, “tasty enough”, “hot enough” and so on. In each case, you are saying that it was good enough that you wouldn’t complain, but that it could have been better. So the “coffee was hot enough, but I would have liked it even hotter.” I recently read an autobiography of a runner that was amusing enough, but I don’t think I will read her other two books because although she is a native speaker, her grammar was terrible, so the book was hard to read!!
