I’m sure you’re familiar with this word as an adjective, “beautiful” but today we’re looking at it in its adverb form, beautifully. When used as an adverb, it is describing how something is done. For example:
The children behaved beautifully.
It was a beautifully clear, sunny day. Perfect for a drive in the countryside.
FC Tokyo played beautifully but they still lost the game.
I’m so envious, her house is always so beautifully organized.
The colors contrast beautifully.
Lavender flowers dry beautifully and keep their shape for bouquets.
Can you use “beautifully” in a sentence?
