☆ reason  理由
============================
The other day, I said that kids’ books are great for learning English, because they are repetitive. Songs are also great. Books are generally better because they use correct grammar whereas songs tend to change the grammar to fit the music. However, you can still benefit from songs by learning the lyrics, but also by listening to them – it’s a great way to hear native speakers saying the words that you are trying to learn.
Here’s a good song for today’s word, “Just Give Me a Reason” By P!nk. Do you know it?
Just give me a reason
Just a little bit’s enough
Just a second, we’re not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again

There are other songs with “reason” as a key word in them; Rod Stewart, “Reason to Believe”. Bruce Springsteen also has a song titled, “Reason to Believe”. And Tracy Chapman, “Give Me One Reason.” And, “No Reason to Cry” by Tom Petty. There are lots!
It’s time for Karaoke to practice today’s word!! Do you know any other songs with “reason” in the lyrics or title?
Bye,
Chris
