What’s the most enjoyable way to study English?
For me, when I was studying Japanese in Japan, I tried many different ways. I went to calligraphy class with a Japanese teacher. I went to Japanese lessons at the city library with the free volunteers. I used Smartphone apps. Naturally I tried Japanese language schools, too.
But the most enjoyable way I found to study Japanese was getting a job with people who didn’t speak a lot of English. I had to speak Japanese with them. It was enjoyable because I didn’t feel like I was studying, it was just everyday Japanese!
Of course, for you, it might not be possible to get a job where you’ll need to use English, and I know I was lucky to have this chance. But still, the key is to find something that is enjoyable so that it doesn’t really feel like study. What would that be for you? What is one enjoyable way for you to study English?
