If you play along with someone, it means that you
appear agree with what they are saying or what they
are planning, even though you are not sure if they
are right or not. Here are some examples of how to use it:

Don’t ask why, just play along with him!
I don’t really like her idea, but I’m going to play along with
her for now.
No! I’m not going to play along with you.
My mother always plays along with the strange conversations
started by my father!

誰かと調子を合わせるということは、相手の言っていることや相手のやろうとしていることに、実際はそれが良いかはっきりしなくても、賛成を示すということです。
