Do you know anything about Feng Shui? I like this
topic and am interested in how our stuff has energy
and can help us or hinder us when we create our
home environment. My Canadian friend is an Feng
Shui expert and he often does seminars in Japan.
Once he talked about photographs, and what they represent.
Many people display photographs in their homes,
right? Often parents “forget” to update the photos of their
children.

So for example, the photos on the wall are of their children
as young children, or even babies. And yet the children are
actually already adults. In this situation, my friend said that
the photos represent the parent trying to maintain a
relationship with their son or daughter as a child. In other
words, even though the “child” is now a grown up, the
relationship is still “parent to child”, not “parent to adult”.
What do you think of this idea?

家の環境を作る時に、ものが持つエネルギーが、私達のためになったり、妨げになったりするのは興味深いですよね。
カナダ人の友人が風水のエキスパートで、彼は日本でもよくセミナーを開催しています。
ある時彼は、写真と、その写真が示すものごとについて話してくれました。
家に写真を飾る人は多いですね。
こどもの写真を“アップデート”し忘れている親御さんも多くいるようです。

例えば、壁に飾ってあるこどもの写真がまだとても幼かったり、赤ちゃんだったりします。
こども達はすでに大人になっていてもね。
この場合、友人が言うには、親は娘や息子がこどもだった頃の関係を保ちたいと願っているということです。
つまり、こどもが育ちあがっていても、親にとってはこどもである、ということですね。このアイディアについて、どう思いますか？
