I have a request to make… this month I want
you to write a sentence each day using the word
of the day! Does that sound like a reasonable
request? I think so!

When we use the word “request” we often talk about
it in terms of it being a “reasonable” request
or an unreasonable one. So, you might hear
people say something like, “Sounds like a
reasonable request to me!” as a way of saying
“yes” to your request.

“Request”という言葉は、それが妥当な要求か、理不尽な要求かどうか、という場合に使いうことが多いでしょう。
“Sounds like a reasonable request to me! ”
(それは、妥当なリクエストだね！)
と言ったら、そのリクエストに対して“イエス”と言っていることになります。
