When we talk about the features of a machine or thing, we are talking
about the functions or characteristics that it has. For example, “the spacious
LDK is a special feature of this apartment” or “the new iPad seems to have
many great features, but I still don’t know if I need it!”

When we talk about a person’s features, we are talking about the parts of
their face. In particular, the eyes, nose, and mouth. For example, “she has
strongly defined features.” Or “for a man, he has really delicate features”.

Same word, different meanings! Remember, if you know a word already,
try to learn alternate meanings if there are some.

機械やモノの機能とは、そのモノの働きや特性のことを指します。
例：

“the spacious LDK is a special feature of this apartment. ”
(広々としたLDKは、このアパートの目玉となる特色です)

または、
“the new iPad seems to have many great features, but I still don’t know if I need it. ”
(新しいiPadは素晴らしい機能がたくさんついているが、それでもまだ必要かどうかは分からない)

人の特徴といったら、主に顔の特徴を指します。
具体的には目や鼻、口などですね。
例：

“she has strongly defined features. ”
(彼女ははっきりとした顔立ちだ)

または、
“for a man, he has really delicate features. ”
(彼は、男性にしては繊細な顔立ちをしているね)

同じ言葉でも意味が違います。
すでに知っている言葉が出てきたら、違う意味がないか調べてみて下さいね。
