☆ employment 雇用

============================

Today’s word basically means the fact of having a job. For example,
“it’s hard for new graduates to find employment these days.” The opposite
of employment is “unemployment” and countries talk about their
unemployment rate, right? They are trying to lower the unemployment
rate so that the country can be more successful.

I wonder… since things like “positive thinking” and “the Law of Attraction”
have become more popular, instead of talking about how to decrease the
unemployment rate, perhaps we should talk about the “employment rate”
and to raise it? What do you think?

See you,
Chris

“It’s hard for new graduates to find employment these days.”
