Requirement can have two meanings. The first is a “demand” or
something that you need, something that is essential.

This food meets all of your daily requirement for vitamin A.

Do you know the other usage? It is a quality or qualification that you
must have in order to be able to do something, or to be suitable for
something.

Here are some examples:

A law degree is a requirement to be able to work as a solicitor.
A TOEIC score of 750 is the minimum requirement for the job.
