☆ job 仕事

============================

“What’s your job?” is probably one of the first questions you learn
in a beginner’s English conversation class in Japan, right? Why is
this question taught? Well, firstly, jobs are a good topic of conversation
for when you meet people for the first time. And secondly, it’s a good
way to practice pronouns: what’s your job? What’s his job? What are
their jobs? And so on.

However, if you’ve already met someone and you know their job,
there is another question you could ask – one that relates to this
month’s topic, too. Can you guess what it is?

What’s your perfect job?
Or
What’s your ideal job?

This would be a good way to get a conversation going with someone
you already know.

“What is your job?”
“What’s your job?”“What’s his job?”“What are their jobs?”

“What’s your perfect job?”

“What’s your ideal job?”
