☆ lacking  足りない

============================

I’m sure you’ve seen or heard the word “lack” used as verb or
noun, however, it is not often used as an adjective, like in today’s
word: lacking. Adjectives that end in “ing” often describe a state or
situation that is continuing for a long time. For example:
We are living in an ageing society.
Increasing prices are making it hard for one-income families.
And using today’s word:
My hair is lacking in luster since I changed my shampoo.
She was feeling nervous, and increasingly lacking in confidence.
Do you know any other “ing” adjectives?
Bye,
Chris
