Today is Mother’s Day. These days there is a lot of marketing
trying to get us to buy things, and of course, special events such
as “mother’s day” mean a lot of chances to get people to buy things!

Did you select a gift for your mother? How did you select it? Was it
something that she asked you for? Or something that you thought
she would like? Or did you select something based on the marketing
that you saw?

When my nephew asked his mum (my sister) what she would like for
Mother’s day, she asked him to do the ironing!! Lol. I think he is regretting
asking her! Maybe next year, he’ll just select a gift and not ask what she
“really” wants. 🙂

お母さんのリクエストですか、それとも彼女が気に入ると思ってあなたが選んだものでしょうか？
あるいは、目にしたマーケティングを基に選びましたか？

私の甥が、母親(私の姉)に、母の日に何が欲しいかを尋ねた時に、姉はアイロンをしてほしいと言いました。ハハハ…
きっと、甥は何が欲しいかと訊いたことを後悔しているでしょうね。
多分、来年は本当に欲しいものを訊かずに、自分でギフトを選ぶことでしょう！
