☆ calling 　天職

One of the things that we spend so much time doing in our lives is
working, right? So if you’re not working in a job that you like a lot,
then a lot of the time you’ll be wishing you were doing something
else, right? In English when we talk about a job that is just right for
us, something that we love doing and feel that it is the only job for
us, we say it is our “calling”.

We use “calling” when talking about our job especially when we feel
like we have been “called” by the universe or god or some higher
power to choose that job. In western culture, people who find their
calling are usually considered to be more successful and happier.
Is this true in Japan too?
