============================

If you “tend” to something, you look after it, or take care of it.
In a working situation you would use “tend” if you looked after
people, in particular, while they are sick. Or if you look after
gardens! It is quite a formal word, and most people would just
say “take care of” or “look after” in regular conversation.

Here are some example sentences:
He tends the flower beds that he planted in the driveway.
The nurse tended him during his illness.

Bye,
Chris
—————————-

He tends the flower beds that he planted in the driveway.

The nurse tended him during his illness.
