When I was in university I was studying Japanese, and
thinking about becoming a teacher. However, my
father urged me to study law. I studied law, and
worked as a lawyer for a few years, but in the end, I studied
teaching and became an English teacher. I guess I should have
trusted my own feelings!

Have you ever made a choice because someone urged
you too, and then found out that your own choice was
the best one?

私は法律を勉強し、数年間弁護士として働きましたが、結局は勉強をして英語教師になりました。
