Recently, a friend of mine posted on Facebook a link
about a survey of what percent of people believe God
created the world, and what percent believe the Big Bang
Theory.

Of course, the votes were mostly from the US (34,550
votes) and in Japan there were only 895 votes, so the
results are a little skewed, but here’s the summary:

55% of Americans (of the 34, 550 that voted) said “God”
9% of Japanese (of the 895 that voted) said “God”

What do you think of this result? Is it hard for Japanese
people to believe in something that is not “tangible” or
do you think this is purely a cultural issue, and related to
the way we are brought up?

アメリカからの票がほとんどで34,550票、日本からは895票だけなので、当然偏りがありますが結果は次の通りでした。

この結果、どう思いますか？
日本人には触れることのできないものを信じるのは難しいことでしょうか？
それとも、単に育った環境の違いからくる文化的な問題だと思いますか？
