☆ question 疑問を抱く

“Question” can be used as a verb in two ways. The first way is “to question
someone” about something, in other words, ask someone a question. For
example, “the teacher asked me a question in class today.”

The second way, is today’s meaning, which is “to question something”, which
means you are doubting whether that thing is true, reasonable, or worthwhile.
Here are some example sentences:

Always question your negative beliefs about English!
It never occurred to him to question the doctor’s decisions.
It’s important to question assumptions.

動詞の「question」には、2つの意味があります。
ひとつは、誰かに「質問をする」。
例:“the teacher asked me a question in class today. ”
(先生は今日、私に質問をした)

もうひとつは、今日の言葉「疑問を抱く」です。
つまり、あることに対して真実かどうか、納得がいくかどうか、意味があることかなど疑いを持つということです。
