This is another word that comes up in recipes often. You can also use
the verb “cube” instead of “dice”, however, “dice” is more common.
You might see it used in recipes in this way:

Dice the oninon.
Add the remaining diced vegetables.
Remove the seeds and then dice.
Serve with diced carrots.
