☆ spoonful　ひとさじ

Whenever I measure things for recipes, I like it when it says something
like, a “spoonful of sugar”. It doesn’t matter what country you
live in – a spoonful is a spoonful, right?

It’s more difficult when the units are in US and British Imperial units, as opposed
to metric units. I always have to check online to find out how much
the measurement is in metric units.

When you cook do you measure the ingredients, or just add in “some” or
a “spoonful” depending on your feeling?

レシピのために何かを量る場合、「spoonful of sugar （砂糖ひとさじ）」のような単位だったらいいですね！
だってどんな国にいても「ひとさじ」は「ひとさじ」ですよね？

メトリック単位に対して、イギリスとアメリカが使っている「imperial Unit（ヤードポンド法）」ならもっと難しくなりますね。
私はいつもオンラインで、メトリック単位にしたらどれくらいになるのかを調べないといけません。

あなたが料理をするとき、材料をきちんと量りますか？
それとも「ちょっと」や「ひとさじ」を感覚で使いますか？
