This week’s mails have been talking about cultural differences
and stories using the daily word. Stories are a great way to learn
anything, and they are especially good for learning a new word or
grammar pattern.

When you learn a new word you could write a sentence using it,
or you could try to tell a story using the word. Of course, if the
story is something connected to your own life, or something that
is interesting to you.

For today’s word, if you’re married, you could start the story like this:
“When I was single…”
And if you’re single now, “I love(or don’t like) being single because…”
