Is muscle building popular in Japan? It is
popular in the western world for men to have
a muscular body. “Body Building” competitions
used to be a kind of niche event, but now
they are mainstream!

In fact, it’s even popular for women to participate.
The women who take part in the competition are
have very muscular bodies. What do you think of
this kind of sport? Is it common in Japan?

西洋では、男性は筋肉質の体を持つのがポピュラーです。
むかし、「ボディビルディング」という競技はニッチなイベントでしたが、いまや本流になってきました。
