Before you start to study, preparing is very important.
For example, you can prepare your study space,
by getting your English texts ready, any pens or
paper that you might need. If you plan to listen to
music while you study, you should prepare that too.
Once you have gotten your space prepared,
then you are ready to start.

Of course, sometimes you are at a coffee shop or
on the train, you don’t always have the time or
space to prepare. In that case,
there is just one thing you really need to prepare…
your brain! Anytime (and no matter where you are)
you can prepare to study English simply by asking yourself,
“What do I want to learn at this time?”
or “What is my purpose for studying English at this time?”
