The accuracy of information is the degree to which it is true, even in the small details. So, a fortune teller could be rated on their accuracy for example. Naturally, if you are going to spend time and money to hear about your future, you want a high degree of accuracy, right?!

The quote from this week is by Sir Terry Pratchett, an English novelist; “Ordinary fortune-tellers tell you what you want to happen.” I think this is true of many fortune tellers – without thinking about accuracy, they ask a few questions and learn enough about the person to tell them what they want to happen. On the other hand, a true fortune teller, will tell you what they see, and think about accuracy more than your feelings or hopes. What do you think? Do you agree?
