If someone has a good eye for something, it means that they are good at noticing the details, the small and important things that other people might not notice. So, someone who has a good eye for fashion, is able to notice what really works well together. For example, what colors go together, or what style really suits someone’s body shape.

Do you think you have a good eye for fashion? When I lived in Japan, I noticed that certainly most Japanese women always looked very fashionable and on trend, so I feel that most Japanese women do have a good eye for fashion – especially compared to my hometown, where most women dress in “active wear” even though they don’t play any sport!
