Tell me, does today’s translation have a negative nuance? In English, the word romp describes children (and animals) when they are playing noisily and happily. In other words, it’s a positive word. For example, “The little children romped happily in the garden.”

However, if I used this Japanese word, I think I would use it in a situation when the children were romping noisily or stupidly, and therefore being annoying or even doing something dangerous. Is that true, or can this Japanese word also be used to describe the positiveness of romping?
