If you are feeling elated, you are extremely happy and excited because of something that has happened. What kinds of things make you feel elated?

For me, running related things make me feel elated… for example, when my new running shoes arrive in the mail I feel very elated! Sounds a bit strange I’m sure, but the prices of running shoes in Australia is phenomenal (and not in a good way!) So, I usually buy my shoes online from the USA, so when they arrive safely, I feel elated… and when I try them on they fit perfectly (because online shoe buying is always risky!) I feel doubly elated. Ha ha.

So, my reason for feeling elated is very simple, but still, that’s how I feel – extremely happy and excited! How about you? When was the last time you felt elated, and what were you elated about?
