☆  concoction  調合

A concoction is something that has been made out of several things mixed together. So for example, your breakfast might be a “concoction of yogurt, oats, and apples, with honey.” One good thing about making a “concoction” for your dinner (or breakfast or lunch!) is that you can just throw together the ingredients that you have, there’s no need to go out and buy more.

If you search on the Internet, you’ll find lots of cooking sites devoted to helping you make concoctions out of what you have in your pantry. This also means, that you are generally eating fresh, in-season ingredients, which is always much healthier, right? Do you like to follow recipes or are you happy to create your own concoctions?
