If two things are different, they are not like each other in one or more ways. Do you have any habits that are different from your friends or family? I think my “last three digits” habit is different from what anyone else in my family does!

What about habits between different cultures? Do you think that there are habits in Japanese culture that are different from western culture? Obviously bowing as a greeting rather than shaking hands is a different habit. Anything else? One “habit” I thought of was the habit of slurping ramen noodles! Ha ha! This is a habit that is very different from western culture, where eating quietly is the most important thing for good manners. Can you think of any other different cultural habits?
