Today is the first day of the school year for (most of) Australia. My kids will start their new year, with a new teacher today. Does that seem strange to you? We’ve just finished our six weeks of summer holidays! And the new school year starts after summer, so they will change grades and classrooms today.

This morning I was aiming to get them up early and to school on time, they didn’t get up early but we did get to school on time. Now for the rest of the day, I am aiming to finish ALL of January’s work that I couldn’t get finished because I couldn’t work while they were home from school. I doubt I’ll get it all done, but I’m going to try!!
