Do you have any time off this Golden Week? The next three days are actually public holidays right, so does that mean you have time off? I hope so! If you have time off, what are you planning to do? In Australia, we don’t have a Golden Week unfortunately, so no time off for me.
When we talk about “time off” usually it is at least a few days of holidays. In other words, if you say, “I’m taking time off next week” it could mean just one day, but would usually mean at least two days, usually more. If you just have one day off, then it would be better to say, “I’m taking the day off work next Tuesday.” Or “I’m taking a day off next week.” Use the latter if you haven’t decided or don’t want to say which day.
