☆ beloved  愛しい
============================
To me, this is a strange word, that I personally don’t use very often, however I have friends that use it all the time. For me, it’s a little old-fashioned, so I rarely use it. As an adjective it describes someone or something that you feel great affection for. Here are a couple of examples:
He lost his beloved wife last year.
Roses are romantic flowers, beloved of poets, singers, and artists.
If this word feels too old-fashioned for you too, here are some alternatives:
cherished
dear
darling
adored
precious
treasured
Do you know any others?
Bye,
Chris
