As you can imagine, there are lots of positive quotes about “action”. Do you know any? Here are some of my favorites – and it’s a good way to see the word “action” in use.
“Action may not always bring happiness; but there is no happiness without action.” Benjamin Disraeli
“Do you want to know who you are? Don’t ask. Act! Action will delineate and define you.” Thomas Jefferson
And one more;
“Thinking will not overcome fear but action will.” W. Clement Stone
This last one is especially important for English don’t you think? If you think too much about English and grammar and vocabulary, you’ll just create fear, instead you need action! Speak English, read English, write English whenever you can! All this action will overcome your fear of English.
