If you describe something as “fresh” it means that you like it or appreciate it because it is new and exciting. For example, “I love his artwork it is full of fresh ideas.” As you may know a famous British singer, songwriter, and artist died earlier this week, David Bowie. His work was always considered to be fresh; new, exciting, unique, and original.
For my friends and myself, growing up when he was most famous we considered him to be a real artist – creating fresh work even just months before his death. Do you know him? Was he famous in Japan? Are there any people in Japan – or even among your friends, family, or coworkers – that you consider to be creative and producing fresh ideas often?
