Yesterday we talked about someone or something being ageless. Today is a similar word, but today’s word, “timeless” is used to describe something that is so good or beautiful that it cannot be affected by changes in society or fashion. So yesterday’s word described something that doesn’t seem to get older, today’s word describes something that doesn’t seem to change even as it gets older. Here are some example sentences:
His art has a timeless quality to it.
The little black dress is timeless and will always be in fashion.
I visited a timeless village on the coast of Italy.
