☆ miracle 奇跡

One of my favorite quotes by Albert Einstein is about miracle. Do you know the one I’m talking about? This is it: “There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.”This quote – and living in Japan – has made me be much more appreciative of my surroundings and life. I now believe that everything is a miracle!
When I was living in Japan, everyone really paid attention to the simple things, like the “miracle” of cherry blossoms, or autumn leaves changing colors. Many people asked me if Australia had four seasons. At first I thought it was the strangest question, because “of course” is the answer… however, after years of living in Japan I realized that although we have four seasons, we don’t really appreciate each season like Japanese people do. Now, I spend a lot of time noticing the miracles around me on a daily basis, it’s a fun way to live. 🙂 What miracles have you seen recently in your life?
