☆ belong 属する
============================

There are lots of different ways to use today’s word, so let’s look at some examples of it in use:

If something belongs to you, you own it.
Do you know who this bag belongs to?

If you belong to a group, you are a member of that group.
I used to belong to a soccer club.

If something belongs to a particular time, it comes from that time.
This pottery belongs to the Edo era.

If you say that a person or thing belongs in a particular place or situation, that is where they should be.
You don’t belong here.
The plates belong here, and the cups belong in that cupboard.
And one more, when two people say they belong together they are saying that they are very close and committed to each other.

And I just wanted to say thank you so much for helping me with my questionnaire! I needed at least 30 people for my exam at school, but thanks to your help, I reached 47 people. I really appreciate your time.

If you didn’t get a chance to answer, but would still like to, here is the URL, I need to give the results on Monday so there is still a few days. http://goo.gl/forms/KQY4yJq8TA
Thank you!

Bye,
Chris
