Recently an Asian grocery store opened up near my home. It’s great – it is within walking distance and I can obtain all kinds of Japanese foods there that I was not able to buy before. There is an online Daiwa Foods store, where you can obtain a lot of different Japanese items, but they are mainly selling to restaurants, so you have to buy in bulk…
I LOVE Kewpie mayo, and usually buy the 1kg bottle because it is hard to obtain, but if I buy from Daiwa Foods, I have to buy a BOX of TEN 1kg bottles! It’s toooooo much mayonnaise, even for me. 🙂
Have you ever fallen in love with a food or product that is hard to obtain? What did you do about it? Did you give up trying to buy it? Did you try to find it online?
