☆ close 親しい
============================
When you say that people are “close” to each other you mean that they like each other very much and know each other very well. This word is used no matter whether the relationship is romantic or just a friendship, and you can use it to talk about family relationships too. Here are some examples:
She and Jane grew very close over time.
I am very close to my older sister.
When I was a uni student I lived in a share house with my close friend from school.
He had a close relationship with his grandfather.
Who are you close to? Do you have many close friends or just a few? Are you close to your family?
Bye,
Chris
