Creating sentence examples is often the best way to learn and remember a new word, or a new version of a word you already know (you might already know “intense” as an adjective, “intensity” is a noun.) So here are some examples for you:
The intensity of his stare made her feel nervous.
The intensity of her emotions started to fade once she left the office.
The volume and intensity of her voice rose as she continued to speak.
The little boy shook with the intensity of his sobs.
As you can see, this word is most often used with strong emotions. Remember to make a few examples of your own too!
