☆ jeopardize 台無しにする
============================
If you jeopardize a situation it means that you do something that may destroy it or cause it to fail. Have you heard this word before? It’s actually a commonly used word, for example, a simple sentence that you might often hear is:
“I don’t want to jeopardize X.”
In the previous example, “X” is usually something like a friendship, a relationship, or an opportunity. For example, a guy and girl that have been best friends for a long time might say they don’t want to start a romantic relationship with each other because it might jeopardize their friendship.
Is there something in your life at the moment that you don’t want to jeopardize?
Bye,
Chris
