What do you think makes a person approachable? In terms of a definition, something that is friendly and easy to talk to is “approachable” but what about in real life? Is that the same definition that you would use? Actress Selma Blair is quoted as saying, “I think I’m more approachable with long hair. When it’s short, I come across as being artsy and weird.” Ha ha, what do you think, is hair length important when deciding if some is approachable or not??
If hair style is important what else is? I guess clothes and what you are wearing can make you look more – or less – approachable. What about tattoos? In Australia tattoos are pretty common, so they probably don’t affect approachability too much, but how about in Japan where tattoos are not so common, if someone had a lot of tattoos would you think they were approachable or not?
Would you describe yourself as approachable? Why or why not?
