☆ moment　瞬間

A “moment” is a very short period of time, for example a few seconds, or perhaps a minute. It is very common for people to say, “Just a moment” when they need you to wait… but of course, they are always longer than a few seconds, right?!! Here are some example sentences:
I’ll be back in a moment.
Can you give me a moment to think about it.
Come here for a moment please.
It’s important to be here now in the moment.
Enjoy the moment!
The funny thing is that almost 100% of time when someone says “moment” they don’t really mean a few seconds! When I tell my kids “I’ll be back in a moment” they usually start counting and tell me I have been gone to long!
