☆ satisfy　満足させる

The Q&A for the end of this month is “what would make you satisfied with your English level?” Have you ever thought about this question? What was your answer?
In fact, I don’t think a lot of people have thought about this question. A lot of my students have set goals and thought about what they want to achieve with English, but not a lot of them knew when they would be satisfied with their English.
In fact, it’s quite a hard question, because we can always improve… even for me, I am always trying to run faster or run longer distances, and I don’t think I’ll ever be satisfied with my speed as I’d like to run faster.
Hmmmmmm, so maybe the question this month isn’t possible to answer! Maybe no one will ever be satisfied with their English. Not because it’s not good enough – of course your English is good enough. The “problem” is that humans always have a drive to be better, right? So maybe, we can be satisfied with where we are right now, and still strive to get better!
